Matthias Liermann Director, Actuarial Services

Matthias has over ten years of experience advising and auditing P&C insurance companies, including expertise with Solvency II, IFRS17, GAAP audits and actuarial processes.

Matthias has led various actuarial audit engagements both on IFRS and GAAP. He has performed and led independent reserve reviews for European P&C insurers, for long-tail business and has experience with actuarial P&C audits, including leading the P&C actuarial audit transition for a major European insurer. Matthias also led the P&C actuarial stream for an IFRS 17 implementation for a major European insurance group.

Prior to joining Mazars, he was at a Big 4 firm.

Mattias received a degree in Mathematics from Technical University of Dresden and is a Certified Actuary.
