Austin Sammon Partner, Audit & Business Advisory

Austin is an audit and business advisory services partner in the Galway office of Mazars. He has over 16 years’ experience in providing assurance and advisory services to companies in a broad range of industries including; pharmaceutical, technology, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, retail and semi-state bodies. He has significant experience in dealing with large and complex organisations as well as working closely with a number of privately owned businesses. Austin acts as the lead partner on a number of multinational groups managing reporting to overseas group locations. He advises companies at various stages, from those in financial difficulty, those in growth and those in more mature stages of their life cycles. This has included assisting in turnaround strategies, refinancing of loan facilities and succession planning. In particular, he has considerable experience dealing with companies in the construction industry. Austin previously worked at director level with a Big 4 firm where he was responsible for the delivery of services to the owner managed/private clients. Prior to this Austin was the Principal in his own Galway City practice. He is a Business Studies graduate of University of Limerick and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
