Industry opportunity in Germany: Agroindustry

While speaking to Mr. Frank Westermann, president of the Association for Promotion of the European Centre for Latin America (EZLA), we discussed the industry with the most potential for Latin American business owners and entrepreneurs. Without any doubt at all, Mr. Westermann told us that the agricultural industry presents the most opportunity for Latin American investors or entrepreneurs coming to Germany.
  • Why Argro-Industry?

“It’s simple,” Mr. Westermann said “as the trend of international cuisine is increasing in Germany, and many of these meals require ingredients that are not grown here.”

Therefore, there is an opportunity for Latin American countries to bring their agricultural advancements and put them into practice in Germany. This also includes new processes or agriculture machines, which could allow German farmers to make significant progress.

  • Is investement in this industry realistic?

Investment in the industry of agriculture is realistic and possible because countries in Latin America, such as Brazil and Mexico, are already leaders in this industry. German agriculture could use help from countries that are already excelling in the field and apply these skills in order to innovate.

Oportunidad en Alemania: Agroindustria

Al hablar con el Sr. Frank Westermann, presidente de la Asociación para la Promoción del Centro Europeo para América Latina (EZLA), discutimos acerca de la industria con mayor potencial para empresarios, especialmente Latinoamericanos. Sin duda alguna, el Sr. Westermann nos dijo que la industria agrícola presenta oportunidades interesantes para empresarios Latinoamericanos en Alemania.

  • ¿Por qué Agro-Industria?

“Es simple,” dijo Sr. Westermann, “la tendencia de la cocina internacional está aumentando en Alemania, y muchos de los platos requieren ingredientes que no se cultivan aquí.”

Por lo tanto, existe la oportunidad para que los países Latinoamericanos traigan sus avances agrícolas y los pongan en práctica aquí en Alemania. Esto, también incluye nuevos procesos y máquinas agrícolas, que podrían permitir a los agricultores Alemanes progresar.
